Paul lost his life at sea in 2002 when the boat he was working on capsized. His friend, Lorne MacDougall also lost his life. The Oban lifeboat searched for days to try and find Paul but sadly he was never found. The work that the people at the Oban lifeboat station put in was amazing and all the people involved in the searches did it all on a voluntary basis. The RNLI rely on donations from the public to continue to help people who find themselves in trouble at sea. I know times are hard at the moment but hopefully you can spare a few pound to help this worthy cause, if you can't help now maybe you would consider donating at a later stage ;-) Paul left behind his wife clare and their four daughters - Sophie, Nadia, Yasmin and Mia.
